Count Idem is a project that questions the resurgence of paganism in modern era.

Inspired by the Balts weave, which in the ancient times used to be a sacrifice for self-identification, this contemporary weave acts as an artefact, capturing means of identity construction through adapting a material process pertaining to the traditional Baltic culture.

Bringing old tradition to the present, Count Idem designs self-identity based on one’s consumption.
