Guoda Šulskytė is a Lithuanian interdisciplinary designer, researcher and filmmaker, interested in human-made systems and how these both reflect and affect our psychology and actions. She aims to design material, whether physical, digital or metaphysical, that enables to challenge knowledge construction in widely uncharted territories, allowing for something new to emerge in the future.
Analysing incomprehensible and existential things, Guoda’s practice weaves together vast time-frames: ancient history to Soviet culture to the beginning of the universe. She collaborates with physicists, engineers, psychologists, farmers and academics to provide a conceptual space within which all these fields could be in the conversation.
